Lucy's maintaining 4 years on...

START WEIGHT: 14 stone 7lbs

* Health is so important to me. I have 3 children & running around after them is hard enough without carrying around excess weight!
Having Polycystic Ovarian syndrome (PCOS) doesn't help me either. It's so hard losing weight with PCOS. It can be a vicious cycle as being overweight increases the symptoms so i wanted to lose weight to help me manage the symptoms of PCOS.
Prior to starting on the SML Diet, i tried convincing myself that i was fine. Gorgeous no matter what. However, inside i felt frumpy, unhealthy and overweight. Eating made me feel guilty and looking back, i can now see how miserable i was due to being overweight.
I heard about the SML Diet from a weight loss forum & decided to give it a go. It was a decision that would change my life!
The SML Diet products taste great & there's a wide selection that i could choose from. At one point, i literally lived on the SML Diet Sweet MRP Porridge.

VLCD's do have their challenges. However, i kept reminding myself why i was losing weight in the first place. The weight came off quickly which was so motivating.

The SML Diet team were great for support. They were always there to answer my questions & the facebook support group was brilliant. I would highly recommend the support group for anyone who is following the SML Diet. There's lots of slimmers in the group and if i had a bad day, i'd go and have a moan without fear of judgement. It's amazing how similar we all are. I've made some great friends as a result & go on the group every day.

The response from people has been amazing. People stop me in the playground and ask me how i've lost my weight. I love spreading the word about SML. I feel really evangelical about The SML Diet. I am so glad i took that step to lose weight as i am happier, healthier and feel that i am a better role model to my children.
